Eucharistic Adoration

Our parish has the wonderful privilege of adoring Jesus, who is present: body, blood, soul and divinity, in the Blessed Sacrament. Our Panis Angelicus Chapel is open 7 days a week 24 hours a day (with the exception of a few days at the end of Holy Week). The chapel is open to everyone. Those needing entry between 10 PM and 6 AM may register with Parish Center for a security key. While all are welcome at any time, we encourage and pray that every person will make a commitment to a particular day and hour for "their special hour with Jesus." Mother Theresa says an hour in front of the Blessed Sacrament is the best hour you will spend on Earth. Call Larry or Ruth Kalkstein (630) 879-9051 to make a commitment for a particular hour during the week.

Remembering the Sick or Dead

If a member of your family or a friend is sick or dies and you would like them to be remembered by the assembly gathered for daily and Sunday Mass, please call the Parish Center (630) 232-0124. The names of persons who are in the hospital are named at Mass, the homebound and nursing home sick names are put in the bulletin each week. You need to have the person's or family's permission and give your name as requesting prayers. Please notify us when their condition changes.

Prayer Circle/Prayer Requests

This is a group of people who will pray for private intentions, especially during times of crisis. A phone tree or email tree (your choice of contact method) is activated to transmit requests as they are received. Contact Paulette and Pauline Fahnestock (630) 587-1960 with your request(s).

Spiritual Direction

The director helps the person notice and respond to the movement of God as experienced in prayer and the events of ordinary life. The director listens reverently to the person, creating an atmosphere where she/he can look honestly at his/her relationship with God, as it is lived out in everyday life. If spiritual direction is something for you, contact Sr. Margaret Knittel (630) 365-9387 or call one of our Parish Priests (630) 232-0124 for more options.
