Faithful Living ♦ Grateful Giving
The starting point for our giving is the basic principle of Christian stewardship — that everything we have is a gift from God. In gratitude for God’s generosity, we dedicate a portion of these gifts — our time, talent and treasure — to furthering God’s Kingdom. If we truly believe that God gives us all that we have, … faithful living and grateful giving are responses that should well up in our thankful hearts. God has provided for us, and will continue to do so. Our real security lies in God. Click below to hear Fr. Martins homily, and within it, the roots of the campaign.
A Stewardship Prayer
Gracious and Loving God, pour forth Your blessing upon St. Peter Parish.
Inspire us to be welcoming to all who seek a spiritual home
within our community. Motivate us to share our faith and to be mindful
of the needs of others. Teach us to trust in Your promise to provide for us.
Form us through the Holy Eucharist into the Body of Christ, the Church.
Inspire us to be generous in sharing our gifts of time, talent, and treasure.
Almighty Father, bless our parish through this Faithful Living, Grateful Giving campaign.
Make it a means by which we grow as stewards of Your gifts
and gather resources needed to do the important work of
building up Your kingdom on earth.
This we ask through Christ our Lord. Amen.
