Catholics Returning Home - the purpose of Catholics Returnng Home is to make your search for the fullness of truth easier and more fruitful. God loves you so much that He will not stop searching for you, reaching out to you, and seeking you, so He can bring you safely home to a big, warm and loving Catholic family. But God is gentle . . . the choice is yours.

RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults) - is the process whereby adults are initiated into full communion with the Catholic Church. The RCIA is for those who were baptized in other faith traditions but now feel called to become Catholic.

  • those who have never been baptized or do not belong to a faith tradition but now feel called to become Catholic.
  • those who were baptized Catholic but never received Confirmation and First Holy Communion.
  • those who have received both Catholic baptism and First Holy Communion but were never Confirmed.

Spiritual Direction - helps a person notice and respond to the movement of God as experienced in prayer and the events of ordinary life. The director listens reverently to the person, creating an atmosphere where he/she can look honestly at his/her relationship with God, as it is lived out in everyday life.



Admonish sinners and be admonished. Bear wrongs patiently. Forgive offenses willingly.
  • Go to Confession. Schedule can be found here.
  • Listen intently and learn from your clergy's homilies. Listen intently . . .
  • Correct and discipline your children with love.
  • Correct your brothers and sisters who need correction with your prayer, example and extreme love for them.
  • Seek spiritual direction if you are unable to forgive.



Pray for the living and the dead. Ask for prayer.

Jesus is present: body, blood, soul and divinity in the Blessed Sacrament. Our Panis Angelicus Chapel is open 7 days a week, 24 hours a day(with the exception of a few days at the end of Holy Week). Mother Teresa says an hour in front of the Blessed Sacrament is the best hour you will spend on Earth.

  • Be a prayer circle member to pray for other's petitions.
  • Pray for sick and deceased named in the bulletin.
  • Have a Mass said for the deceased or special intentions. (Call the Parish Center, 630-232-0124).
  • Attend Mass.
  • Support & enhance worship and prayer services.
  • Become a Greeter, Lector, Altar server, Singer, Musician or Sound board technician.
  • Join the Art & Environment Committee.
  • Become a Sacristan to help prepare for liturgy and care for sacred linens, vessels, etc.
  • Become an Extraordinary Minister of Communion.
  • Be part of the Prayer Shawl Ministry.
  • Novena to Our Mother of Perpetual Help: People gather to invoke the intercession of Mary for their special intentions. This is a 9-week novena.
