Works of Mercy
Counsel the doubtful and be counseled.
Admonish sinners and be admonished. Bear wrongs patiently. Forgive offenses
willingly.
- Go to Confession.
Schedule can be found here.
- Listen intently and learn from your clergy's homilies.
- Correct and discipline your children with love.
- Correct your brothers and sisters who need correction with your prayer,
example and extreme love for them.
- Seek spiritual direction if you are unable to forgive.
Pray for the living and the dead. Ask for prayer.
- Be a prayer
circle member to pray for other's petitions.
- Pray for sick and deceased named in the bulletin.
- Have a Mass
said for the deceased or special intentions. (Call the Parish Center,
630-232-0124).
- Attend Mass.
- Support & enhance worship and prayer services.
- Become
a Hospitality member, Lector, Altar server, Singer, Musician or Sound
board technician.
- Join the Environment
& Art Committee.
- Become a Sacristan
to help prepare for liturgy and care for sacred linens, vessels, etc.
- Become an Extraordinary
Minister of Communion.
