The River of Grace
Our Vision
To become a community
where each and everyone has fallen completely in love with God - Father,
Son, and Holy Spirit and it shows.
What Should The River Of Grace Vision, Theme And Symbol Mean To Us?
A River of Grace runs through our Parish to help us make the changes we
need to love God completely.
We want to love God - Father, Son, and Holy Spirit completely.
Grace will help us do this. Without grace we cannot do this.
Opportunities for grace are all around us. We can obtain grace in many
ways to help us be the person God wants us to be.
The River symbol, created by one of our parishioners, illustrates the
beautiful intertwining of the Trinity with us. The Art and Environment
team were inspired to create a beautiful banner of a waterfall powerfully
sourcing the River of Grace. It is sometimes displayed behind the main
altar during the Ordinary Time of the Liturgical Season.
The vision fully realized would mean all in our Parish family are completely
in love with God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. When one falls completely
in love with God, their life is centered on and directed by God and they
are totally obedient to Him. His love shows in how they live their life
each day.
Visions
are something we strive for and set our sights on. They may not come all
the way true, but they are possible. A vision is created to provide a
pinnacle goal to strive for so our goals are not set too low.
