The R.O.C.K. (Reaching Out in Christian Kindness) Mission Team is making plans to return to Glenmary Farm in Vanceburg, KY over spring break 2012. This is the site of our 1st ever mission trip in 2008. We are excited to be bringing a new group of students to the location where our program began 5 years ago.

During our trip, we will be assisting the local community in a variety of ways. This will likely involve working in the food pantry & clothing store, visiting the elderly and/or emotionally traumatized, assisting with the youth, and working on construction projects. We are committed to serving as we are called and learning from our experiences as we embrace the poorest of the poor in Appalachia.

We invite you to prayerfully support our team throughout the year. We know we will have a successful trip if we remain God-centered as we serve in Appalachia!

• Christmas luminaries will be for sale for $5 each after all Masses on December 3/4 & 10/11, 2011.
• We will also be hosting a spaghetti dinner at Riverview Banquets (Knights of Columbus Hall in Batavia) on January 26, 2012. We'd love to have you join us!!

Students who will be high school sophomores through seniors in 2012-2013 are encouraged to begin prayerfully discerning whether they are being called to serve on next year's team which will travel over spring break of 2013. Applications for our 2013 trip will be available in May 2012 with interviews and team selection taking place over the summer of 2012.
