Our sacramental life begins with baptism. We remind ourselves of our initiation into the life of grace each time we enter church and using holy water from the baptismal font, sign ourselves with the sign of the cross.
	The small, free-standing marble holy water fonts on either side of the doors to the narthex originally stood at the entrance to the first parish church on James Street.
