ABOUT US

THAT ALL MAY BE ONE

Diocesan Appeal 2025

This year, as we celebrate our 50th Anniversary of the Rockford Diocesan Appeal, know that the success of our mission would not be possible without your generosity.

When Jesus prays to His Father, He not only prays for His Disciples, but for all believers. “I pray not only for them, but also for those who will believe in me through their word, so that they may all be one, as you, Father, are in me and I in you, that they also may be in us, that the world may believe that you sent me.” (John 17:20-21). Jesus knew that He must return to the Father before the coming of the gift of the Holy Spirit at Pentecost who would equip and strengthen His disciples for the difficult challenges ahead, that the disciples might be united in body, mind and spirit as they worked as His one Church in mission. His prayer, then, is for all disciples: all believers, even today. That includes you!

Your donation to our 2025 Diocesan Appeal helps support the many ministries of the Diocese of Rockford that carry out the universal mission of the Church: sharing the truth of the Gospel. Would you please prayerfully consider a contribution to our appeal? Your generous contribution allows us to respond to those in need, care for the souls of young and old, and prepare men for the priesthood and permanent diaconate.
