Life for women today is full — full of work, family, ministry, relationships, and the quiet weight of carrying it all. Between the demands of daily life and the noise of the world, it can be easy to lose touch with the stillness our hearts are truly longing for.

That's why St. Peter Geneva is inviting women of all ages and all stages of life to a special evening set apart just for them: Encounter Jesus — A Night of Worship.

An Evening Set Apart

On Thursday, July 30th, from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM, women from our parish and beyond are invited to gather for one hour of intentional worship and Eucharistic Adoration. This isn't a night for checklists or to-do lists — it's a night to simply come as you are and rest in the presence of Christ.

Whether you're a new mom running on empty, a young woman navigating big life decisions, someone in the busy middle years balancing everything at once, or a woman further along in life's journey seeking deeper peace — this night is for you. Women of all ages, all backgrounds, and all seasons of life are welcome.

Why Adoration? Why Worship?

There's something uniquely powerful about pausing in the physical presence of Jesus in the Eucharist. In a world that constantly asks us to produce, perform, and respond, Adoration asks nothing of us except to be present. It's an invitation to exhale.

The evening's theme is drawn from one of the most comforting invitations in all of Scripture:

"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest."

If that verse speaks to something in your heart right now, consider this your personal invitation.

What to Expect

• A welcoming, women-only space for prayer and worship
• Time before the Blessed Sacrament in Eucharistic Adoration
• Music and worship to help quiet the heart
• One hour, start to finish — accessible even on a busy Thursday evening

You don't need to prepare anything. You don't need to have the "right words" for prayer. You simply need to show up and let God meet you where you are.
