Walking with Women in Need

The Walking with Moms in Need Ministry, a part of St. Peter’s Respect Life Ministry, seeks to help moms in need experience the love of Jesus Christ through every encounter they have with our parish. While providing baby items is an important part of our outreach, our mission goes far beyond material support. We strive to ensure that every mom knows she is seen, valued, loved, supported, and prayed for as we accompany her on her parenting journey.

To best respond to the ongoing needs of the moms we serve, we maintain an inventory of essential baby items and regularly update a "Current Needs List" with specific requests. We even identify high priority items when we have urgent requests. Parishioners and friends of St. Peter can get involved by "claiming" & purchasing an item from the list. Donated items can then be placed under the coat racks in the Narthex hallway. By focusing on current needs—including specific diaper sizes, formula, and other essentials—we can provide timely assistance to our moms and be good stewards of donated resources. 



Please pray for our moms in need and help us spread the word that they are invited to visit us outside the St. Peter Food Pantry on the second Wednesday of each month from 7:30 - 11:00 AM or 5:30 - 7:00 PM. (Bring an ID - any ID is fine.) We will do our best to provide the assistance needed through the resources God has entrusted to us. While we may not always be able to fulfill every request, we trust that God knows each mom's needs and will provide for her in His perfect time and way.
